That was some 20 years ago and I can honestly say that my mentor was exactly right. Bringing the Ego under our control this little “I” the lower self or whatever you wish to call it is indeed a battle in itself. So what can I pass onto you now of what I have learnt.  Firstly I have to say that the job of bringing about a “Soul Infused Personality” is indeed a lifetime’s work for most in any case.  Granted there are some cases of sudden or instant integrations but they are not common. Most of us on the path of return take the structured unfoldment of the initiation process. Of course this is an inner process that brings about change and evolvement. Secondly I want to say be ready for a “backlash” from the Ego, things will probably get worse before they get better, why is this? Well mainly because the Ego has had it’s way for a fair while probably many lifetimes. Now a higher part within us throws up it’s light and declares the inner battle. If you have read the Bhagavad-Gita you will understand the symbolic nature of Arjuna on the battlefield, that battle is the very one we are discussing here. In Esoteric literature we find many references to the phrase “taking the kingdom of heaven by storm” and this refers to a conscience inner decision to quicken the process of integration.  Master once remarked to me that we only need contemplate for a short moment this idea and we set in motion the process. One golden nugget I can share with you that is not (as far as I know) written anywhere else is that of Vibration. By working consciously on the inner Vibration the process will quicken, couple this with meditation and the bringing down of Soul qualities into the Mind and we have a powerful combination. We will look at these various processes and techniques in the following sections more closely, but before you move onto these take time now to really decide if you are ready for this, obviously you can choose to delay but the very fact that you are reading this means, that you, are at a point in your soul evolution to move ahead. The great laws of Karma have carried you to where you are now and will continue to push you onwards and upwards.
